Coaches & Managers Roles & Responsibilities
All Coaches & Managers must complete:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check)
- Respect in Sport certification (re-certify every 5 years)
- Understanding the Rule of Two eLearning Module (in CAC’s The Locker)
- Complete CAC’s Safe Sport Training Rule of Two Training (in CAC’s The Locker)
All Coaches must also be a minimum of Community Coaching Trained:
- Coach Initiation in Sport (a multi-sport module in CAC’s The Locker)
- Introduction to Community Coaching (a xc ski specific module in CAC’s The Locker)
- Complete the Community Coaching workshop (CCSAM delivered)
